From its early beginning some eighty years ago, the Owasso FFA Chapter continues to shape and mold the lives of students into outstanding young people that possess the attributes to make a positive difference in their communities, state, and nation.  The Owasso FFA is the student organization for the high school’s agricultural education program accompanied by classroom/laboratory instruction and Supervised Agricultural Experience projects.  With well over 150 students actively involved in all three facets of the program we are proud to say that our chapter continues to raise the standard for its successful tradition each and every year.

  2012 special olympics show
The evening of January 17 was anything but ordinary. Owasso FFA put on a livestock show, but it wasn't a "normal" show. Twelve Special Olympians came to the school farm with their parents and had the opportunity to learn about agriculture and interact with livestock animals. They were able to actually show hogs, sheep, and cattle. This event was designed to fundraise for Special Olympics, get them involved in agriculture at a higher level, but also allowed for Owasso FFA members to gain so much. The show was inspiring to say the least.

The 2011 Sophomore Opening Ceremonies Team
On Monday November 7th a group of outstanding sophomore Owasso FFA members competed in the State Opening and Closing Ceremonies contest in Stillwater, Oklahoma. These team members were MaKyla Hudson, Addie Freeny, Kyla McMurphy, Jackson Day, Addison Murray, and Morgan Glocker. We would like to congratulate these members on their incredible performance. Owasso has been the State Champion in the Opening Ceremonies contest for three years in a row and we are so proud of these students for working hard to continue this tradition. In order to compete in this contest, these students had to first compete in the Tulsa PI (Sub District) opening ceremonies contest, placing first in that contest and being one of four chapters to represent the Northeast District at the state contest. Once again congratulations to these members!" And also a list of the students that were on the team, From L-R; Jackson Day, Addie Freeny, MaKyla Hudson, Morgan Glocker, Kyla McMurphy, Addison Murray.
